“Dollar Man” Oil 36 x 48 by Tom Kelly

Is an attempt to combine oil paintings with the realism of the dollar bills. This painting is again a reaction to the dichotomy of life in the business world where money is the driving factor behind most relationships and dealings. The hand extended for a handshake is at first hard to see but I felt it was necessary in order for the dollar bills to recede into the painting. If I made the hand too pronounce then I felt it would overwhelm the painting and conflict with the dollar bills and overall style. Oil and dollar bills 1990's 36 x 48
