“Waiting on To” 30 x 40 Oil 1990’s by Tom Kelly
A painting about the demands my job had at the time. The style is broken and confused combining different stylized approaches all in the same painting. The actual location of the painting is in front of my desk at work. I am out of the painting on the phone behind my desk. My dad, Deb, coworkers are all in the painting. Each asking for a little of my time of which I don't have very much. George, my painting friend and instructor, is also in the painting and the only one that is expressed in a more realistic style because he seems to make the most sense.
